Michael Cochran
Growing up in South Carolina’s Lowcountry, I attended local schools and completed my education with a Bachelor of Arts in political science from The Citadel in 1993. Following a college internship, I spent four and a half years in State Law Enforcement as a Probation and Parole Agent, and five and half years in contracted community corrections in the Charleston area.
Transitioning from that field in 2003, I moved into outside sales and ultimately customer service management. Spending over a decade in the auto glass business as a location manager, I left that industry to further serve the community as a Farm Bureau Insurance agent in the Spring of 2018. As a Farm Bureau Insurance Agent, I enjoy assisting clients in “connecting the dots” to find the proper coverage for their risks and needs. As a Multi-Line Agent, I offer solutions for personal lines of Auto, Home, and Life Insurance, as well as commercial, health, and small business products.
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my bride of twenty-six years. I am an avid outdoorsman, conservationist, and published outdoor writer.
