Biz Where You Live

The Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce (MPCC) and the Town of Mount Pleasant have once again joined forces to encourage residents to support local businesses during the holiday shopping season. This fourth annual campaign, “Shop Where You Live,” begins on November 1 and will continue through the end of 2024.

Buying locally supports the businesses owned and operated by your friends, neighbors and family members and keeps dollars in our local economy.

The incentive for shoppers to interact with our members and other participating businesses on our social media is as follows: Entries must like and post a comment on the designated Shop Where You Live social media post including tagging the participating business they want to shop at, plus tagging two friends they want to go shopping with.

The campaign begins on March 1 and goes through April 1. On April 6th, we will celebrate the end of the campaign at the Cooper River Bridge Run with a team member raffle for a gift basket featuring local health and wellness establishments.

Getting fit locally supports the health and wellness establishments owned and operated by your friends, neighbors and family and keeps dollars in our local economy. To enter individuals post a photo of their fitness experience at a participating business on social media and follow the instructions on how to enter.

The third annual Dine Where You Live campaign begins on February 1 and will continue through February 29.

Dining locally supports the food and beverage establishments owned and operated by your friends, neighbors and family members and keeps dollars in our local economy. Every week, the Chamber will give away a $50 gift card for a Mount Pleasant restaurant to one lucky diner who posts a photo of his or her dining experience at a participating Mount Pleasant establishment on Instagram or Facebook and follows the instructions on how to enter.
